Grace & Peace!
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds very interesting!
Is there a more detailed itinerary available? It is difficult now for our team to anticipate numbers for our region in terms of who and how many students we would want to involve. Is there a limit to the total number who will be allowed to participate?
Stanley,
ReplyDeleteThis mission lab is designed to equip and mobilize urban college students who feel a call and burden to minister under reached ethnic and international students. Students should hold leadership roles in their BCMs or be emerging leaders within their campus ministry. It will provide servant outreach opportunities and leadership training. The service project will take place @ NYU and the training will take place @ Graffiti Community Ministries in the lower east side in Manhattan. The program and lodging is free as well as breakfast and lunch on the 8th and 9th. We are asking the students to cover their travel and ground transportation. Students will be free to explore the city both Friday and Saturday nights, so meals will be on their own. Lodging will be at the David Dean Mission House in Brooklyn, NY. Program, schedule and Speakers are yet TBD. Only 40 spaces available.
